Pre-painted galvanised iron sheets
[edit] Introduction
Pre-painted galvanised iron (PPGI) sheets are generally used as roofing, primarily for industrial and commercial construction projects. They use galvanized iron sheets as raw material. It is generally pre-coated in order to provide corrosion resistance. This might be by way of a hot dip zinc coated process.
It can also be used for air conditioning units, automatic washers, retaining walls, ventilation ducts, equipment hoppers and even the creation of various stamping parts. It is highly heat resistant, and often manufactured from layers of aluminium that can make it strong and lightweight.
Also, they are corrosion-resistant, although not as resistant as pre-painted galvalume sheet (PPGL). This is because they might not be equipped with a zinc coating that may provide the additional potential to deal with the weather. However, these are very cost-effective in comparison.
Products include coils, corrugated sheets, galvanized strips, and so on, in the form of roofing materials, wall materials, and base metal products which can be used for industrial and commercial projects.
There are plenty of PPGI sheet uses now available, especially PPGI roofing panels. It merely is determined by the project that you will be concentrating on. Regardless of the color that you need, or the kind of corrosion resistance you would like, you will discover the sheets you need.
